Travin Keith is the Managing Director of Altrean, a company that is creating and enabling tools that improve one's experience with DLTs, both with the public networks, such as those involving cryptocurrencies, as well as private networks and various areas in between. It was previously known as Agavon, a company that provided assistance to other companies when determining whether or not blockchain and other distributed ledger technologies (DLTs) was viable for their needs, as well as provided assistance with deciding on which should be used, the architecture of the solution, and its implementation. With Hyperledger, Travin has been an active participant in the Marketing Committee and its Messaging and Events as well as PR Working Groups since 2016 during his time with the Nxt Foundation and the Ardor and Nxt Group. He is also a co-author of the upcoming Hyperledger whitepaper titled, "An Introduction to Hyperledger" and is a member of its Speakers Bureau, having spoken at various meetups and events in the US, Germany, the Czech Republic, and Japan, including the Open Source Leadership Summit by the Linux Foundation in March 2018. In addition to these, within the blockchain and DLT space, he is also a Co-Founder of Stokr, a company that is creating a platform for securities to be tokenized on a blockchain, an Advisor of SmartCash, and a number of other advisory-level roles in other groups and organizations.
