Running a services business is not easy. Running a services business with Open Source in it's DNA is even harder, especially when you're small and self funded.

In this session Walter will explain the journey he took OlinData through over the past decade and the lessons we can learn from it as open source leaders. We'll explore the challenges for a small company that is passionate about Open Source but doesn't have the bandwidth to do many core contributions. On the other side we'll look at how companies like this are actually very valuable players in the succes of open source projects.

We'll learn how open source projects can work together with these kind of companies to increase their chances of success.
